This painting recalls both the amazing colours of the slopes of Carningli and the power of nature as it moves across the scrub, rocks and scree. The rocks hold a power of their own with the recognition that people have populated the mountains for so many centuries, trying to form it to their needs. Nature has never quite let it go.
